How it Started
Renegade Covers partnered with New Tab Marketing in June of 2020. Because of the strong potential NTM saw in Renegade Covers, we formed an agreement based on a profit-sharing model.
They had been trying to get their product off the ground for 6 years, putting in a ton of time at trade shows and then only selling a few covers, despite them being highly superior to other truck bed covers on the market
We identified several opportunities for growth, reputation management and email marketing. To bolster the former, we had to showcase that customer service was as good as the product itself, as well as gather as many reviews from happy customers as possible.
Through email, we created a journey of content for customers to enjoy, even as they were waiting for their American-forged truck bed cover to be built.

A la Carte. The first service we provided Renegade Covers with was content creation and website development. We knew that creating topnotch content was key for moving them up in the market. The goal was to showcase the cover’s benefits in a simple way, making their competitive advantage incredibly clear.
We poured into their website for the next 6 months, confident that this would generate traffic on a national level. This included a great deal of research of their competitors, who spend well over 5 figures a month on Google Ads. Not having that kind of budget, we had to zero in on where the competition fell short; here, we discerned the strategic combination of strong SEO, video marketing, and social media marketing.

The client is extremely happy with the results, to the point that we have had to slow down our marketing efforts in order to allow their production to catch up.
Overall, we faced a gargantuan challenge of positioning this product at the top of the market.
There was no question it deserved to be there, but to make it, we would have to convince customers to spend more money than it seemed the market could bear. We also had to do it from the ground level, with a very limited budget.
Together with Renegade Covers, we have celebrated a consistent increase in sales, from only a handful per year before they began working with us, to multiple millions in revenue today.
